Mandurah Swimming Club
About the club
Established in 1967 the Mandurah Swimming Club continues to be a competitive swimming club attending major swim meets throughout Western Australia.
Our aim is to develop and assist each swimmer to reach their full potential both in and out of the pool.
The Head Coach and our team of coaches provide programs enabling swimmers to develop skills, teach discipline and provide an environment in which swimmers can safely and happily enjoy their swimming.

Our Coaches
Appointed Head Coach of Mandurah Swimming Club Hyojin "Sharky" Son.
Sharky has an impressive International coaching record, having previously spent 6 years as Head Coach of Manjimup Marlins Swimming Club. Previous to this she has coached at various clubs in South Korea and Canada.
Sharky's primary focus will be on developing swimmers mentally and physically as a person whilst maximising their talent and potential with a focus on maintaining a strong team culture, mental edge and training with the right technique.
Sharky is excited to lead Mandurah Swimming Club to be a dominant force in swimming and will be a great mentor for all our coaches.
Mandurah Swimming Club is excited to welcome our newest coach to the team Assistant Coach Mike.
I've been a coach in Australia for the past 5 years. The main focus with the swimmers I coached was surf events and ocean swim as well as general fitness. This is my first time coaching club swimmers.
My role is to create a safe environment for our swimmers to learn in more detail and precision how to swim as well as preparing them for regional and State swims.
I'd like to grow as a coach with the guidance of an experienced coach like Sharky and eventually try and pass on my skills and mentor our Club swimmers who want to become coaches in the future.
Mandurah Swimming Club is thrilled to introduce our newly appointed Junior Coaches Chelsea and Mackenzie.
Mandurah Swimming club has a strong ethos on developing our members, not only to reach their swimming potential but other aspirations such as coaching.
The club commenced a 'Development Training and Coaching Program' in 2022 to identify and develop swimmers that may want to do work as coaches.
Both Chelsea and Mackenzie are accomplished swimmers in their own right and are the two inaugural development/trainee coaches of the club.
